Why BC Internal Auditor Course and Why Now?
This 2-day course is developed in alignment with the requirements of ISO 22301 and is designed to equip you with the knowledge and competencies expected of you as an internal auditor performing a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) internal audit. It will provide you with a practical understanding of audit principles, the internal audit life cycle, and the specific areas that should be evaluated to determine whether a BCMS is effectively implemented, maintained, and aligned with organisational and standard requirements.
Delivered as a highly interactive workshop, the course combines lectures, guided discussions, hands-on activities, and practical exercises to reinforce learning and support real-world application. You will get the chance to work through audit-related scenarios and use practical tools such as checklists and templates, which will be provided as take-aways to internal audits within your own organisation.

- Understand in detail how a BCMS audit should be conducted
- Perform an Internal Audit as per the ISO 22301 standards
Course Outline
Day 1 BC Internal Auditor Course
- Outline the audit fundamentals and principles
- Overview of ISO 22301 requirements
- Explain a typical audit process, including classifying and categorizing audit findings
Day 2 BC Internal Auditor Course
- Develop the internal audit life cycle from the schedule and checklist to interview questions based on ISO 22301
- Perform the internal audit based on the ISO 22301 standards
- Appraise the internal audit by preparing the post audit report and identifying the areas for improvements in your BCMS programme
