Why Conduct Business Continuity Exercise & Test and Why Now?
A key part of the Business Management Continuity System (BCMS) life-cycle is the validation process. Validation provides stakeholders with assurance that BCPs, supporting arrangements, and organisational capabilities remain updated, effective, and ready to be activated when real crises or disasters occur.
This course will familiarise you with the process of conducting BCMS tests and exercises to help ensure that the overall response and recovery process is ready when needed. It also provides an overview of the different exercise options, the planning and evaluation of exercise programmes, and the role of continuous improvement in maintaining an effective and reliable BCMS.

Day 1 Conduct Business Continuity Exercise & Test
- Explain the importance of BCP test and exercise to ensure capabilities are updated and ready to activate whenever required
- List the various BCMS test and exercise design elements and suitability levels for different situations
- Explain the concept of continuous improvement and evaluate the implementation
- Hands-on planning of exercise programme
- Design, prepare and conduct an evaluation of the BCP
